For Faculty and Staff
The Industry Contracts Division (ICD) of the Office of Sponsored Research works collaboratively with faculty to foster productive relationships with for-profit organization and to secure sponsorship of University programs including:
- Clinical Trials
- Material Transfers (incoming materials of all types and outgoing clinical specimen or data)
- Sponsored Research
- Grants (including SBIR/STTR and UC Discovery)
- Collaborative Agreement
- Fellowships
- Confidentiality Agreements related to industry research contracts and grants
ICD officers provide business development, alliance management and negotiation services to faculty. Faculty are encouraged to engage ICD officers early in their discussion with industry-sponsors.
